Before Taking Any Guitar For Beginners Courses, Read This

Holding the guitar pick is next. Some beginners chose not touse a pick to play the guitar. Not using a pick can be vastly upsetting to your fingers. Your picking hand must be open and your palm must be facing you. Now, while making a loose fist,your thumb should staybeside your index finger. Rotate your hand with your knuckle of your thumb facing toward you.

The next part is to learn the scales. Many play guitar for beginners instruction will include how to play guitar scales in the lessons.  Beginners need to know which finger to use whenpressing a specific guitar string. The thumb does not be used to press any strings. When you become a professional, you may chose to use it. But the thumb is actually just a support. The remaining four fingers are used to press down the strings to cause a guitar chord.

Finally, you are now ready to play your first chord. Fire up by looking at illustrated chord charts and follow the instructions. Be sure to memorize them all and always practice along with your favorite songs.
