Look for fingerpicking in the search box at that website.
Watch the video through to get an idea of what each pattern looks like, then practice each pattern.I suggest practicing each pattern separately until they are easy for you to play. Then move on to the next pattern. The finger picking patterns are easiest of the beginning of the video. An excellent way to practice the patterns is to play them slowly and with an even rhythm.
Here are a few tips to help you. The first tip is to relax your hand after each pluck. Many players have too much tension in their playing. Another idea is to practice slowly and move between chords without a pause. See the next chord in your mind before you change to it.
One of the popular picking patterns you will learn is the Travis Picking Pattern. Travis picking is a style of playing that is commonly used to refer to an alternating thumb-picked bass line over which a syncopated melody is picked on the treble strings. This picking pattern is named after Merle Travis.
Use these patterns with other songs and as a spring board for making up other finger picking patterns. The patterns will become like second nature to you. It can become automatic, like tying your shoe laces. If you work hard on playing with good technique, you will soon be able to play with ease.
