So anyway they had this how to play guitar listing that honestly is one of the best beginner guitar guides I have come across. Complete with text and video, if you are trying to learn how to play guitar this site should be able to help.

If you are truly just starting out with the guitar this site should be your first stop. Once you get these basics down you can venture further out by getting yourself other self-help DVDs and on line courses. But for the newbie, try this site first.
