Use the A minor pentatonic scale in the 5th fret position to learn these techniques to begin with, the string tension and fret spacing are ideal.

Learning scales will test you and make your guitar playing better so make sure you study and know them. It can assist to improve your understanding of the fret board, increase your dexterity, improve your speed and clarity of note because it gives you a new yardstick to see how much you’re improving.
